Television actress Nia Sharma is known for setting new style statements and starting fashion trends. However, the actress got made into the headline for an unfortunate reason when her handbag got stolen from her car in Mumbai. Nia took to her social media handle to seek help from Mumbai Police who were swift with the response.

Nia Sharma took to her Twitter handle to share a picture of her handbag which got stolen from her car near Lower Parel in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Along with the picture of the handbag which is worth approximately Rs. 1,32,000, the actress addressed the Mumbai Police for help and wrote, “@MumbaiPolice Someone picked my handbag from the car.., at senapati bapat marg signal..lower parel .. any help would mean a lot please.”

The Mumbai Police were quick with the response and they informed the actress that her request has been acknowledged as they replied, “We have followed you. Request you to inbox your number. We will call you shortly to get details.” The actress further responded to the prompt response from the Mumbai Police’s social media handle and thanked them for their cooperation. The handbag stolen is from the luxury brand Balenciaga and costs in lakhs.
