Emraan Hashmi is one of the most sought after actors in the Bollywood industry who has made a name for himself for his acting talent. The actor, best known for romantic and gangster characters, is prepped up to mark his digital debut with Netflix Original series, Bard of Blood.

The series is based on a novel of the same name penned down Bilal Siddiqui and is being produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s production banner, Red Chillies Entertainment. The story revolves around four officers of the Indian Intelligence Wing, who are captured in Balochistan and the intelligence veteran reaches out to a former spy and a professor, played by Emraan Hashmi, to rescue the captured.


The series will make its way to the giant video streaming platform on the 27th of September, which is announced by none other than Shah Rukh Khan along with the motion picture. All episodes of the series will go live at the same time and will be available for the Netflix users around the globe.

Helmed by Ribhu Dasgupta, Bard of Blood also stars Vineet Kumar Singh, Kirti Kulhari Shobhita Dhulipala, and Rajit Kapoor among others in pivotal roles.
