In a bizarre turn of events, there started a whole ‘Too Much Radhika Apte’ on the internet in the form of memes, trolls, op-eds, as to how Netflix is obsessed with Indian cine actress Radhika Apte and how she is part of all the premiere Indian Netflix projects.
The memes and trolls went on to become from extreme, to ridiculous to absolutely hilarious, but also ended up giving the team some more brilliant ideas to collaborate with the actress, yet again. After receiving so much love and attention from the trollers, Radhika along with Netflix had no choice, but to do this.

Radhika Apte has been part of three premiere Indian Netflix Originals till now – Sacred Games, Lust Stories and Ghoul and has done a tremendous work in all of them. She has widened her performance range as an actor, but guess it’s just too much goodness for some people to handle.
Either people have issues with Nepotism in the industry and deserving candidates losing out on being a part of good projects, or there are people who have issues with seeing well deserving actors being part of too many projects for their own liking. Well in the latter case we have the internet recently going crazy at Netflix and Radhika in the most absurd manner.
Apte is one of the finest finds of Indian cinema that we could ever have and in the last few years we have seen her in a variety of multi lingual breakthrough projects and performances. Shor in the city, Ahalya in Bengali, Manjhi: The mountain man, Parched, Padman, Kabali in Tamil alongside super star Rajnikanth, Phobia each different from the other are to name a few.
The fact is two out of the three Netflix India Original projects – Lust Stories and Ghoul were actually not made for it, but then Netflix Originals was meant to become RadFlix Original.
