‘Little Things’ an Indian web series, produced by ‘Filter Copy’s’ sister channel ‘Dice Media’ on YouTube was recently acquired by Netflix streaming platform.
The show starring writer-actor Dhruv Sehgal (as Dhruv) and Mithila Palkar (as Kavya) in leads, went on to become one of the most successful web shows for the channel and the onscreen pair became an instant hit in the year 2017.
Season 1 which was a slice of a life take on Dhruv and Kavya’s modern day relationship and their day to day life with each other, basically focused on the “honeymoon’ period of a relationship wherein things are mostly all sweet and good.
The second season directed by Ruchir Arun is all set to start streaming on Netflix on 5th October. The last season ended with Dhruv and Kavya discussing themselves, their relationship and individual choices. The current season will explore and dug deeper into their lives, their relationship, differences, career choices, conflicts, yet keeping the tone light and non dramatic. Its about the “Little Things” that plays a huge part in building or breaking a relationship.
The official trailer of the upcoming season gives an insight into what we can expect from it. They couple have come out of their “Honeymoon phase” and are at a different stage of their relationship, where they are questioning everything and seeing things beyond each other. This ride ain’t as smooth as the previous one, hold on tight and see how Dhruv and Kavya together face the tough times and come out shinning or do they?
Mithila who is a digital sensation was last seen in feature film ‘Karwaan’ starring Irrfan Khan and Dulqer Salman and also recently won Filmfare Award (Marathi) for best debut in the movie ‘Muramba’.
