Renowned filmmaker Amit Sharma is all prepared for the official Hindi remake of the popular Hollywood movie, The Intern, and Deepika Padukone will be playing the lead. The latest report has it that Neena Gupta has been brought on board to play a key role in the movie.
It was earlier reported that Deepika Padukone will be portraying the character of a lady boss in the official Hindi remake of the American comedy-drama of the same name. The Hollywood counterpart features Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro in the lead and the Piku pair will be recreating the magic for the Indian cinema lovers. Joining them, Neena Gupta has signed the movie and will be playing a key role in the movie.
Earlier, late actor Rishi Kapoor was signed to walk into the shoes of Robert De Niro, however, after his unfortunate demise, the part was taken over by veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan. The movie is expected to go on the floors by the end of the current year and we might see the movie in theatres by summer next year.
