With NCB proving the drug links in the entertainment industry, everyone is under the radar of the agency. Earlier, actress Rhea Chakraborty was arrested for confessing procuring drugs followed by NCB sending summons to Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan and Rakul Preet Singh. The latest report suggests that the residence of executive producer of the Dharma Productions has been raided by NCB and the officials found a significant amount of contraband substances.
As per the reports, Narcotics Control Bureau raided the residence of Karan Johar’s aide Kshitij Ravi Prasad in links with the ongoing drug probe in Sushant Singh Rajput’s case. The NCB has reportedly confirmed seizing huge amounts of drugs from the producer’s residence and has taken him for further questioning. However, Kshitij has been neither arrested nor detained at the time of this information.
The reports suggest that the executive producer of Dharma Production will be taken into custody post the interrogation. Kshitij was summoned to appear before the team and he arrived in Mumbai today before the raid took place at his residence. The NCB is conducting raids at multiple locations in Mumbai and a number of Bollywood, as well as television actors, are under the scanner. Earlier, the investigating team had raided Abigail Pande and Sanam Johar’s residence and the couple is reportedly booked for consuming drugs.
