Actor Ananya Panday is under trouble as NCB raids her residence in links with the Mumbai cruise drug bust and summons her for questioning in the ongoing investigation in links with Shah Rukh Khan’s eldest son, Aryan Khan. The actress has been called to visit the investigation agency at 2 pm (Thursday).
For the unversed, Aryan Khan has been in judicial custody for over weeks after he was arrested along with 19 other high-profile kids in links with a drug racket. In the ongoing investigation, Ananya Panday’s name was allegedly featured in a WhatsApp chat of one of the accused in the case. Ananya and Aryan are known for hanging together in their friend circle and NCB is trying to connect dots with the WhatsApp chats.
Earlier today, NCB visited SRK’s residence, Mannat, and another team conducted a search operation at Ananya Panday’s residence. The investigation has further asked the actress to appear before them for questioning. Meanwhile, Aryan Khan’s bail plea was rejected once again. “WhatsApp chats prima facie reveals accused Aryan Khan is dealing in illicit drug activities for narcotic substances on regular basis,” said the special court.
