After making a mark in the mainstream acting industry, Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s digital debut, Sacred Games, brought him more love from the audience. While the second season of the Sacred Games is awaiting release, Nawazuddin has bagged another project from the digital streaming giant, Netflix.

Netflix is coming up with a film adaptation of Manu Joseph’s book, Serious Men. The movie will be released under the same title and Nawazuddin has been roped to play the central character of Ayyan Mani. The film will be directed by Sudhir Mishra while Bombay Fables and Cineraas Entertainment will bankroll the project.

During an interview, Nawazuddin Siddiqui expressed his excitement to reunite with Netflix and to work with critically acclaimed director Sudhir Mishra. “This is my second stint with Netflix after Sacred Games and I hope that people give Ayyan Mani (from Serious Men) the same love that they extended to Ganesh Gaitonde (from Sacred Games)”, he further added.

His popular web-series, Sacred Games 2, might air on 14th June. Nawazuddin is also prepping up for his upcoming Bollywood movie, Bole Chudiyan. Earlier Mouni Roy was playing the female lead in Bole Chudiyan but recently she walked out owing to discrepancies in her contract.
