Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has come a long way in his career and is currently one of the very few actors with no haters. Nawazuddin, who was last seen in Netflix’s satirical comedy-drama film Serious Men, is in no mood to return to work in Mumbai anytime soon.

In a recent interaction with SpotboyE, Nawazuddin Siddiqui said that he is currently at peace in his hometown and is not hurrying to resume shooting in Mumbai. “I know the lockdown is being eased in Mumbai and that shooting is being resumed. We are allowed to shoot from 9 am to 4 pm. That’s good news. But I am not sure whether it is the right time yet to get back to shooting,” says the actor.

The Sacred Games actor says that he has worked enough in recent years to take some time off and currently enjoying nature and farming at his home in Uttrakhand. “I’ve worked enough in the past few years. I can take it easy for as long as I want. I know there is a truckload of work waiting for me. But until I feel safe I can’t return to shooting. My heart is not. Here at home, I am able to do the things that I can never do in Mumbai, like farming my own land, and growing vegetables,” he said.

Nawazuddin has already completed filming of his upcoming movies, Sangeen and Jogira Sa Ra Ra, and a major chunk of his brother’s directorial debut, Bole Chudiya. “I also shot seven ads. This is enough work for the year. Even if I don’t get to work for the rest of the year I am okay with it,” he added.
