The much awaited ‘Photograph’ movie trailer starring the exceptional Nawazuddin Siddiqui  and Sanya Malhotra in the leads dropped in yesterday and it captures your heart in the most understated manner possible.

Irrfan Khan and Nimrat Kaur starrer Lunchbox director Ritesh Batra brings to you yet another story of two complete strangers from different worlds, whose life collides in a way one could have possibly have ever thought of.

Ritesh touches the vulnerable emotions of humans and their humanly connections in a subtle and non-cliche manner.

Shot in Mumbai, the trailer introduces us to Rafi played by Nawaz who is a struggling street photographer  and Miloni played by Sanya is all set to become a Chartered accountant.

The two have a chance encounter at the Gateway of India, where Rafi as a part of his job insists Miloni to get herself clicked and save a memory of a lifetime. His persuasive words make the otherwise lost and distant Miloni stop and comply by his request. Thus, begins a heartwarming story of a chance encounter waiting to unravel and become something poignant.

The movie has been travelling international festivals lately and is garnering rave reviews. The Berlin Film Festival screening recently for the film was a successful run.

Amazon Prime Videos will be releasing the movie soon on March 15, however the Photograph will hit the US theatres on May 17.
