Star Plus’s popular show ‘Dhinchak Ishqbaaz’, produced by Gul Khan starring Nakuul Mehta and Niti Taylor is all set to go off-air the coming March 15.

The show became an instant rage when it started off in the year 2016, the story revolving around business tycoon Shivaay Singh Oberoi, his two brothers Rudra (Kunal Jai Singh), Omkara (Leenesh Mattoo) and his lady love Annika played by Surbhi Chandana.

Never has Indian television seen such an uproar for a fictional couple in the recent times. Nakuul and Surbhi together made Shivaay-Annika (ShiVika) an iconic onscreen pair, upping the compatibility and chemistry standards for any onscreen couple. Also, as individual characters with their performance, going above the script and shining out.

However, their journey together was cut short with Annika’s untimely death in the show, soon followed by Shivaay’s and with the birth of Dhinchak Ishqbaaz  where the story now revolved around ShiVika’s son Shivaansh Singh Oberoi and his lady love Mannat Kaur Khurana (Niti).

Even before she could explore with her bubbly character, Niti who had just begun her journey with the show post leap a few weeks back will now be bidding a farewell to it. But in a short span the talented actress did pull in the viewers towards the show and entertain them with her new avtar.

The consistently falling Trps in spite of all the tricks and tools tried by the makers of the show to make it work, the audience just refused to give the second season a chance. Also, the show just couldn’t live up to the standards of its first season, failing to leave a lasting impact on the audience and the fans.

In its 3 year long bumpy run, the show and team saw many ups and downs with changing story lines, leaps, spin off,  redux, a second season for which it received a lot of flak from its audience, but what remained constant was one man i.e. actor Nakuul Mehta.

Now that it is coming to an end, the actor took to his social media to pen down his emotional thoughts on his Ishqbaaz journey and thanked the fans for all the love and adulation. Have a look:

We wish the entire team and the cast all the very best and Ishqbaaz for sure will live on in the hearts of its loyal fans.
