Former Indian cricket team skipper, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, is a household name for his achievements in the gentlemen’s sport and he also enjoys a gigantic fan following across the country and beyond. While the former cricket captain already has links with the Indian film industry as he actively promoted his biopic, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, he will soon be venturing into the film industry as a producer.
The biopic featuring late actor Sushant Singh Rajput was a global hit and also featured Dhoni near the credit scene. The movie was also released in the Tamil language and was equally loved by the regional audience. The cricketer also enjoys a great fan following in Tamil Nadu after joining the IPL team Chennai Super Kings and if reports are to be believed, he will have a much closer relationship with the state.
According to a report, Mahendra Singh Dhoni is planning to venture into the Tamil film industry to bankroll a movie and he has allegedly already hired Sanjay as a part of the production team, who closely works with megastar Rajnikanth. The movie will reportedly feature Nayanthara in the lead but there has been no official announcement about the same so far.
