Mrunal Thakur, known for her impressive performances in both Bollywood and South Indian films, is set to make her debut at the esteemed Cannes Film Festival. The festival, taking place in the French Riviera from May 17 to 26, will witness the presence of several talented actresses, including Anushka Sharma, Esha Gupta, and Manushi Chhillar.

Mrunal Thakur, who has swiftly gained popularity in the Indian entertainment industry, expressed her excitement about attending Cannes. She stated, “I am thrilled to be attending the Cannes Film Festival for the first time. It is an honour to represent Grey Goose on such a prestigious platform. I am looking forward to interacting with global filmmakers, exploring new opportunities, and showcasing the talent that Indian cinema has to offer.”

The versatile actress began her career in the television industry and gained recognition for her roles in popular shows like Mujhse Kuchh Kehti… Yeh Khamoshiyaan and Kumkum Bhagya. She made her Bollywood debut with Love Sonia and further showcased her talent in films like Super 30 alongside Hrithik Roshan, Toofan with Farhan Akhtar, and Jersey alongside Shahid Kapoor. Her portrayal of Sita in the Pan-Indian film “Sita Ramam” received immense appreciation.

Looking ahead, Mrunal Thakur is currently working on her next significant South Indian project alongside Nani, tentatively titled Nani 30. Additionally, she has exciting films in the pipeline, including Pooja Meri Jaan, Pippa, and Lust Stories 2. With her remarkable talent and increasing presence in the film industry, her Cannes debut is sure to open doors to new opportunities and global collaborations.
