Young director Jagan Shakti who made his directorial debut with the blockbuster science drama, Mission Mangal, collapsed on Saturday evening and was immediately rushed to the hospital. While the director is being diagnosed for his sudden unconsciousness, the reports suggest that he was earlier diagnosed with a blood clot in his brain.

The filmmaker has been hospitalized for over 24 hours now and his condition is said to be critical by the media reports. Jagan Shakti collapsed at a friends’ gathering on Saturday evening and went unconscious. He was immediately rushed to a hospital and his friends informed his family about his condition. A detailed diagnosis of his medical condition is being conducted and we will soon update on his health.

On the work front, Jagan Shakti made his directorial debut with an ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Kirti Kulhari and Sharman Joshi. Mission Mangal went on to become one of the biggest hits of the last year. The filmmaker was reportedly in talks with Akshay Kumar for another collaboration and started working on the script for the remake of the 2014 Tamil movie, Kaththi.
