Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao starrer thriller Mental Hai Kya has been in the news for all sorts of reasons. The movie got caught into controversies for its title when doctors opposed the movie title for respecting people undergoing mental illness. However, the makers wanted to release the trailer with a huge launch event before letting people jump to conclusions.

As planned the trailer launch event was expected to happen today but it seems like the event has been cancelled for a certain reason. While the trailer of the movie is cut and ready, the makers are still awaiting a censor certificate, without which they cannot release the theatrical promo.

However, the digital trailer can surface over the online streaming platforms without the certificate from the censor board and we can still expect a trailer released by the evening but that entirely depends on the makers now. Earlier, a motion poster was released which claimed the trailer to be coming soon but didn’t mention the new release date.

Directed by Prakash Kovelamudi, Mental Hai Kya will hit the theatres on 26th July if not postponed further.
