Maybelline New York has made a huge announcement through their Instagram handle and commercial ads. The multimillionaire cosmetic company announced fourth-generation Korean Pop group ITZY, as their global brand ambassador. ITZY will be first-ever K-musical group to be signed by the beauty brand.

ITZY is a powerful female band formed in 2019 and signed by YJP Entertainment. They made their debut with the single, Dalla Dalla, which ranked No. 2 on Billboard’s YouTube chart and No. 1 on iTunes’ song chart in twelve regions. They have covered multiple accolades, award show wins, and music tours. Their latest hit was Not Shy which was released in August 2020. The band is now working on their next album, Guess Who, which is expected to release on April 30.

The powerful female group of five – Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna have joined the brand’s catalogue after following the footsteps of supermodel Gigi Hadid and actress Storm Reid.

The quintet says that they have always admired Maybelline as a brand and are extremely excited to be able to contribute their creativity, positivity, and energy to their global community. Through their looks, the sensational girls will be seen promoting Maybelline’s new line of products-  Hypersharp Liner, Ultimatte Lipstick, and SuperStay Foundations ad campaigns in Asia this beauty season.
