Matt Reeves’ standalone Batman movie is in the news lately for its star cast. While Robert Pattinson has been roped to play the cape crusader of the Gotham city, Zoe Kravitz will be essaying his love interest, Catwoman, in the superhero flick. Meanwhile, the latest reports suggest that another star has been approached to play a crucial character in The Batman.

As per the report in Wegotthiscovered, Matthew McConaughey has been approached to play the district attorney Harvey Dent in the upcoming movie. While the reboot will have been as a supporting character, if the film performs as expected, its sequel might introduce Two-Face which is an alternate personality of Harvey Dent.

However, Matthew McConaughey is not the only actor to be considered for ‘Two Face’ but John David Washington might also play the character. That is yet to be confirmed by the makers as there has been no announcement made so far.

Starring Robert Pattinson in the titular character, Matt Reeves directorial is expected to go on floors by the end of this year while the shooting will start by next year only. The Batman is slated to hit the theatres on 25 June 2021.
