Television host and Hindi cinema actor Manish Paul latest project is a Cinemaaddicts9 short film ‘Black Briefcase’ produced by his brother Vivek Paul and directed by Kartik Singh. The actor for the first time would be seen shedding off his jovial and comedian image to play an intense and vulnerable role.
‘Black Briefcase’ is a story of how in the world of good and bad its our own choice that defines what we are and what we want to be. As they say, “God helps those, who helps themselves”.
At every point in life we get a chance to repair the damages we caused, to not go forward with something that the heart doesn’t give a nod to, to make up for the hurt caused, to do good and the right thing. Either one is to be rewarded or punished, the consequences depends on the choices one makes.
Manish doesn’t speak a single word in the short film. It’s his eyes, body language and his surrounding that does all the communication. It’s great to see commercially viable actors lending support to small budget short films. It gives new and small movie makers the needed confidence and boost to approach big stars for their product.
Watch Manish in a never seen avtar in this soul awakening short film!
