Kangana Ranaut’s much delayed project ‘Manikarnika’, based on the Queen of Jhansi is set for a Republic Day release next year. The first look of the actors’ much anticipated movie was shared by the her sister Rangoli Chandel on her social media profile.

The poster has Kangna in her most fierce avtaar we have ever seen of her till date. The actress is known for her no nonsense and never to give up a fight attitude, reflection of which can be seen in the poster of her upcoming movie.

The movie is said to revolve around Rani Lakshmi Bai’s Indian Rebellion in 1857. Kangana has mentioned in many of her interviews about this project being very close to her heart and a lot of hard work, sweat and blood has gone into making it.

Kangana had to go train herself in Sword fight and Horse riding for the movie. A lot of prep has gone into making her character authentic and believable for the movie.
