While the ongoing pandemic has left everyone agitated, many renowned Bollywood celebrities have been tested positive for the novel Coronavirus. While yesterday, Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor made a public announcement that he has tested positive for the virus, his girlfriend Malaika Arora was informed to be tested positives as well. On Monday, the diva took to her social media handle to confirm the news.

Taking to her Instagram account, Malaika Arora confirmed that her test results for COVID-19 have come out to be positive and wrote, “Today I have tested positive for coronavirus but I want to inform you all that I am feeling fine. I am asymptomatic and following all the required protocols and will be quarantined at home as instructed by my doctor and authorities. I request all of you to stay calm and safe. Thank you for all your support. Much love, Malaika Arora.” Earlier she had confirmed the news in an interview with a leading daily.

Yesterday, her beau Arjun Kapoor made a similar announcement on his Instagram handle and updated his fans about his health. “It is my duty to inform all of you that I have tested positive for coronavirus. I’m feeling ok and I’m asymptomatic. I have isolated myself at home under the advice of doctors and authorities and will be under home quarantine. I thank you all in advance for your support and I will keep you all updated about my health in the days to come. These are extraordinary and unprecedented times and I have faith that all of humanity will overcome this virus,” the actor wrote.

While both of them are asymptomatic and following precautionary norms, a dozen members of Malaika’s dance reality show, India’s Best Dancer, tested positive for the Coronavirus post which shooting for the dance reality show was suspended. We wish the couple and the dance unit a speedy recovery.
