The trailer of the much-awaited movie Bala starring Ayushmann Khurrana released a while ago and created a lot of buzz around the subject. While the makers of the movie were accused of copyright violation by the producers of Ujda Chaman as both the movies deal with the same subject and share striking similarities, the makers of Bala are again in trouble for using a song in the movie trailer with no rights.
As per our exclusive source, UK based music composer Dr Zeus is seeking legal measures against the makers of the epic comedy-drama for using his popular track ‘Don’t Be Shy’ in the Bala trailer without his permission. The song has been used in the trailer without the rights or giving credits to the original composer of the track.
Meanwhile, the Bala makers are accused of multiple copyright violations, it is not the first time that Dr Zeus’s composition has been used without his permission. Earlier, the popular song ‘Baby Doll’ featuring Sunny Leone was originally called ‘Barbie Doll’ and was composed by Dr Zeus before Meet Brothers stole it, while the popular track ‘Tanha Hua’ of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Zero plagiarized ‘Mein Yaar Yaar (Akhiyan Lar Gaiyan)’ by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Dr Zeus.
While the makers of Bala have preponed the release of the movie to 7 November, seems like they will need to work more to get original content for their movie. Helmed by Amar Kaushik, Bala stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Yami Gautam and Bhumi Pednekar in prominent characters.
