Starring Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan in the prominent characters, Imtiaz Ali directorial Love Aaj Kal released today with mixed reviews from the audience and the critics. While the movie aims to do a great business owing to Valentine’s Day release, the news came as a winner for the makers that the movie will be showed post-midnight at multiple locations in Mumbai city.

Just last month, the state government of Maharashtra gave its nod for malls, restaurants and pubs to be open till late in the night and the entertainment hubs have decided to make the night more happening for the nightcrawlers. As per the latest report, multiplex chains of Inox, PVR, and Cinepolis among others will be playing shows post-midnight and Imtiaz Ali directorial Love Aaj Kal will be the first movie to have a show in the wee hours.

While many multiplexes have already opened bookings for the movie for the 12:30 am shows, other multiplexes will soon step in the bandwagon if the endeavour came out financially successful for the screen owners. In any case, the makers of the Love Aaj Kal will be the first to benefit from the experiment and the new government scheme.

Produced and directed by Imtiaz Ali, Love Aaj Kal stars Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan alongside the likes of Randeep Hooda, Arushi Sharma, and Shweta Padda in the prominent characters.
