Coronavirus turned out to be one of the deadliest pandemics that homo sapiens have faced in centuries and the viral disease has already claimed lives of more than 75 thousand while infecting more than a million globally, according to the Johns Hopkins University. While the real numbers are expected to be higher due to limited testing in many countries, the United States of America is the worst-hit nation so far.
Accounting for more than three hundred confirmed positive cases, America lost two of its gems from the entertainment industry recently to COVID-19. Best known for starring in Steven Spielberg’s thriller franchise, Jaws, actress Lee Fierro died at an age of 91 in Ohio. As per the reports, Lee was tested positive for the viral disease and she developed severe complications before succumbing to COVID-19.
On the other hand, The Edge Of Night actor, Forrest Compton, also lost his life to the Coronavirus pandemic as confirmed by his close friends. The American actor turned 94 last year and was best known for his characters in The Twilight Zone and 60s comedy-drama Gomer Pyle.
Fans of both the stars mourned their unfortunate death and remembered them for their work in the entertainment industry as they paid tribute.
