Taika Waititi’s directorial Thor: Love and Thunder marks the fourth instalment of the MCU’s Thor franchise making it the biggest of all. The makers are leaving no stones unturned to make it the next big thing in the superhero format and the hype is real. Hollywood’s chameleon Christian Bale will be playing the character of Gorr The God Butcher in Thor 4 and a few clicks of him from the sets of the movie surfaced online.
Fans couldn’t keep calm when it was announced that Christian Bale is officially the part of MCU and will be playing the antagonist in the upcoming Chris Hemsworth movie, Thor: Love and Thunder. While the movie is in the making and recently resumed filming in Malibu amid the pandemic crisis, a few pictures of Christian Bale as the mighty God Butcher have been circulating online.

In the leaked pictures from the sets of Thor 4, Christian Bale can be seen in all-grey prosthetics to do justice to the comic book-based character. If reports are to be believed, the cinematic version of Gorr will be slightly different from the comics but will retain the major characteristics including the iconic black robe. However, it is obvious that the final look of Christian’s character will heavily rely on VFX and we can expect a no-nose version.
Helmed by Taika Waititi, Thor: Love and Thunder features Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Christian Bale, Taika Waititi, Russell Crowe, and Tessa Thompson in key roles. The movie is slated for a 2022 release.
