Shah Rukh Khan has been on a self-imposed sabbatical for the longest time and his fans are desperately waiting for his next project. While it has been confirmed that the actor will be seen in a cameo character in Karan Johar’s magnum opus trilogy, Brahmastra, there has been only speculations about his next.

Earlier, it was speculated that Shah Rukh Khan will be collaborating with renowned Tamil director, Atlee, but no official announcement was made on the same. Later it was speculated that King Khan may work with renowned directors, Rajkumar Hirani, Farah Khan and Sriram Raghavan, for his next but it never took off. A while ago, Shah Rukh Khan met Aashiq Abu and it was speculated that the actor has finalized his collaboration with the Mayaanadhi fame director.

Now that Shah Rukh Khan’s next is speculated to be with filmmaker Aashiq Abu, the latest source reveals that his movie with Atlee is still on the cards. According to the report, Shah Rukh Khan was not happy with the screenplay of the speculated film and has asked the director to work on it before plunging into the project.

While there has been no confirmation about his next movie, his fans can only wait for an official announcement from the Zero actor.
