Self-acclaimed movie critic Kamaal Rashid Khan, aka KRK, is best known for his tiffs with Bollywood actors and controversies associated with comments on anything and everything under the sun. The actor-producer-critic recently made headlines after he was arrested in Mumbai. KRK had earlier accused Salman Khan of planning his arrest; surprisingly, he has come out in public to apologise to the megastar.

For the unversed, KRK was arrested in Mumbai a few weeks ago on his return from Dubai. After his release, Kamaal insinuated that Salman Khan was behind his arrest. However, he has decided to put aside his differences with Salman Khan and admit his misunderstanding.

In a recent tweet, KRK apologized to Salman Khan for accusations and wrote, “I want to inform all media ppl that #SalmanKhan was not behind my arrest as I thought. Peeche Se Koi Aur Khel Kar Gaya. Bhai jaan @BeingSalmanKhan I am really sorry for misunderstanding you. And I apologise if I did hurt you in anyway. I voluntarily decide to not review ur films.”

He also announced that he would not review Salman’s movies in the future. Following his public apology to Salman Khan, KRK clarified that filmmaker Karan Johar was not behind his arrest either. “Many people still think that Karan johar was behind my arrest. And I say again that Karan johar has nothing to do with my arrest. Thanks,” the tweet reads.

Earlier, KRK was sent to 14-day judicial custody by the Borivali Court on August 30. According to the police, KRK was arrested over FIR against his controversial social media posts back in 2020.
