Marking her Bollywood debut opposite Tiger Shroff in the action drama Heropanti, Kriti Sanon has made her mark in the industry with numerous critically acclaimed performances. With the success of her last release Luka Chuppi, Kriti has a line up of upcoming movies in her kitty which includes Housefull 4, Arjun Patiala and Panipat.

According to the latest update, Kriti has been approached for another project which is to be her first female-oriented film. Based on real-life stories, the untitled thriller will be helmed by National Award winning director Rahul Dholakia.

After getting critical success from Shah Rukh Khan starrer Raees, Rahul Dholakia is back with another fictional story based on real incidents which will be set up in the city of Mumbai. While the core idea has been finalised, the script will be penned down by Bilal Siddiqi, noted for his work in the book, Bard of Blood.

Kriti Sanon expressed her excitement for the project while confirming the news and said that she couldn’t wait to start shooting for the same. The movie will be bankrolled by Sunir Kheterpal and is expected to go on the floors in the month of August.
