Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput allegedly killed himself last year at his Bandra residence and created a furore at social media sites. While entire India mourned for the untimely demise of the actor, his fans changed how the entertainment industry is perceived and created an internet movement against nepotism that is prevalent even after a year. On the first death anniversary of Sushant, his former girlfriend, Kriti Sanon, shared a photo collage with her feelings.

Kriti Sanon and Sushant Singh Rajput met on the sets of the love drama, Raabta, and fell in love with each other’s personality and simplicity. The two shared a great onscreen and offscreen chemistry before parting ways and after the demise of SSR, Kriti has opened up many times about her connection with the late actor on social media. Sharing a photo collage from the look test of their first movie together, Raabta, Kriti shared a heartfelt note remembering Sushant on his first death anniversary.

The caption of the photo collage read, “The first time I ever shot with you.. Our look test.. 2 complete strangers, meant to cross each other’s path, For a film that spoke of inexplainable connection, Based in two worlds… Today, it feels so painfully weird to know that You and I are not in the same world anymore.. Still feels like it hasn’t happened for real. Like maybe you are still around and I’ll bump into you somewhere.. I don’t think it’ll EVER sink in.. But I pray that you are happy and at peace in whichever world you are in..”
