After giving critically and commercially successful comedy movies like Bareilly Ki Barfi and Luka Chuppi, Kriti Sanon and Pankaj Tripathi are all prepped to reunite for the third movie based on surrogacy.

Actress Kriti Sanon took to her social media accounts to unveil the first poster of her upcoming movie Mimi on Friday. The movie is based on the National award-winning Marathi language movie Mala Aai Vhhaychy and revolves around the acceptance of the concept of surrogacy in India.

The movie will be helmed by the Luka Chuppi director, Laxman Utekar, and stars Pankaj Tripathi alongside Kriti Sanon in pivotal characters. The caption shared by Kriti Sanon as she unveiled the movie poster reads, “Life is a journey filled with unexpected miracles. Get ready for a journey like never before, #Mimi! This one’s gonna be so special.”

Bankrolled by Maddock Films in association with Jio Studios, the movie is expected to go on floors soon.
