Popular reality TV personality Kim Kardashian has decided to part ways with American rapper Kanye West as she has officially filed a divorce from the latter. Kim and Kanye tied the knot six years ago in Italy and as per reports, their relationship went through rocks during the early 2020 and the two lived separately ever after.
Earlier, Kim had been asked for the joint physical and legal custody of the four kids with Kanye West and the two have decided to co-parent their kids despite their personal complications. However, the reports also suggest that there will be no prenuptial agreement between the two and the divorce will be amicable. Laura Wasser has submitted the documents for the divorce but it doesn’t reveal the date of their separation.
Kanye West had earlier opened up about his struggles with bipolar disorder which also created the rift between him and Kim. Kanye had also posted a series of tweets accusing Kim and her mother of trying to lock him up, which were deleted later. “Those that understand mental illness or even compulsive behavior know that the family is powerless unless the member is a minor,” Kim said in her lengthy Instagram post in July.
