Bhushan Kumar took to his social media handles to announce the sequel to the Akshay Kumar starrer blockbuster horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa in the month of August with Kartik Aaryan taking the mantle forward. While the makers also released posters of the sequel featuring Kartik in saffron robes and dark sunglasses.
A recent source informed that Kiara Advani has been roped for the sequel and will play the female lead opposite Kartik Aaryan in Bhool Bhulaiya 2. The movie is expected to go on floors in the month of October as it is currently in the pre-production phase.
Meanwhile, an official confirmation is awaited, the reading sessions will start near the first schedule of the movie shoot and the movie is slated to a release on 31 July 2020.
Sharing the excitement to take the franchise forward, Kartik Aryaan said, “Bhool Bhulaiyaa has always been one of my favourite comedy-supernatural thriller films and now being part of BB2 makes me really happy, especially because I’ve been a big fan of Akshay Kumar sir.”
