Starring Siddharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh and Shraddha Kapoor in the prominent characters, Mohit Suri directorial Ek Villain turned out to be a blockbuster and entered the 100 crore club with ease in the year 2014. While the songs and scenes of the revenge drama are still memorable and sell, the makers have decided to make a sequel to the original and the star cast promises another blockbuster.
As earlier announced, Ek Villain 2 will bring together John Abraham and Aditya Roy Kapur under the same roof for the first time as both of them will be playing the Villain in the Mohit Suri directorial. However, the female cast of the movie is yet to be confirmed and the directorial earlier mentioned that there will be two female leads and both of them will play important parts in the movie script.
While there has been no official announcement about the female lead yet, latest media reports suggest that Kabir Singh fame Kiara Advani has been approached to play the female lead in the highly-anticipated sequel. When asked Mohit Suri about the buzz, the filmmaker said that he would love to work with the actress in a movie but nothing is yet decided and we will have to wait for the official announcement.
Meanwhile, Kiara Advani was last seen alongside an ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar, Diljit Dosanjh and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the comic drama, Good Newwz. The actress has a lineup of movies in her pipeline which includes Laxmmi Bomb, Indoo Ki Jawani, Shershaah, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
