After the success of romantic drama Kabir Singh co-starring Shahid Kapoor as the titular character, Kiara Advani has made it to the list of highest-paid Bollywood actresses. While Kabir Singh followed a number of controversies, Kiara Advani remained as the crowd favourite and recently started shooting for her upcoming comedy-drama Indoo Ki Jawani.
Starring Aditya Seal opposite Kiara Advani, Indoo Ki Jawani revolves around a girl-next-door searching for her true love over online dating apps. While the movie will be set in a small town, the makers have labelled it as a quirky family entertainer. The movie went on floors recently and Kiara Advani has started shooting for the project in the city of Lucknow.
Expressing her excitement to be a part of the movie, Kiara Advani earlier said, “I am super excited to begin shooting for Indoo, I’ve been prepping for the character ever since I signed the film and it’s finally time to live her! Indoo is a part of every young Indian girl she’s endearing, lovable and quirky.”
Helmed by Abir Sengupta, the movie will be bankrolled by T-Series, Emmay Entertainment and Electric Apples Entertainment. Starring Kiara Advani as the protagonist, Indoo Ki Jawani is slated to release on 5 June 2020.
