Ekta Kapoor’s digital platform AltBalaji is all set to come up with the second season of their super successful  and highly appreciated show Kehne Ko Hai Humsafar , starring Ronit Roy, Gurdeep Kohli Punj, and Mona Singh, along with Sony’s romantic drama Dil Hi Toh Hai starring television hunk Karan Kundra and actress Yogita Bihani.

Produced by Shrishti Arya Behl and Goldie Behl, the Ronit Roy starrer show dealt with a mature and modern day urban tale of a married couple with grown up kids and another woman in their lives.

The 15 episode long tri-weekly show opened discussions to a lot many facets of a relationship, human beings, their moral compass, feelings, right v/s wrong, responsibility- all comes into perspective. Eventually becoming the most viewed, loved and addictive show with rave reviews on the digital streaming platform and app.

The coming season of the show will see the inclusion of few new characters that would also include Parth Samthaan, currently seen as Anurag Basu in Ekta’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay. Parth will be seen in the character of Faizal opposite Pooja Banerjee a.k.a Bani as her love interest. Co-incidentally the two actors are playing siblings in Kasautii… The shooting of the show has already begun, recently the whole team was in Qatar to shoot for the same.

Balaji Telefilms romantic drama ‘Dil Hi Toh Hai’ for Sony received lot of love from the cyber audience, but unfortunately couldn’t really impress the TRP audience. The show had to shut shop in less than 6 months leaving the fans heartbroken. But now its time to rejoice for the fans of Ritvik (Kundra) and Palak (Yogita), as their pleas have been heard.

The show is all set to continue the romantic tale of their favorite couple on Tri-weekly basis on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The same was confirmed by Ekta on her Instagram handle.

So fans are you ready and excited to watch the second season of your favorite shows on AltBalaji starting this February?
