Katrina Kaif’s sister Isabelle Kaif had been waiting for a long time for her debut in the Bollywood industry and after much speculations, it has been officially confirmed that she will mark her acting debut with Kwatha opposite Aayush Sharma.

Helmed by Karan Lalit Bhutani, Kwatha is an unconventional story based on real events revolving around the Indian army in a small village on India-Myanmar border. While Aayush Sharma will be portraying the role of an army officer, details about Isabelle’s character has kept under wraps as of now.

Confirming the cast, director Karan Lalit Bhutani announced Aayush Sharma and Isabelle Kaif as the leads of Kwatha and considered them to be perfect for the plotline. Aayush Sharma, who made his debut with Loveyatri last year, has been going under rigorous training for the movie, while Isabelle Kaif is undergoing intensive workshops.

Bankrolled by Aditya Joshi under the production banner of Cult Entertainment, the movie is expected to go on floors in the month of September and release in 2020.
