It was earlier informed that renowned filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar roped in Katrina Kaif to a superwoman character in his upcoming actioner and the movie is set to go on the floors earlier next year. While the makers are working on the pre-production of the sci-fi movie, Katrina Kaif has started her preparation to essay her character with superpowers.
As per the latest developments, the film crew has shifted their base for operations to Dubai while the shooting for the movie is set to take place in Abu Dhabi. “While the shooting is in Abu Dhabi, we are working on our pre-production from here in Dubai. It is a team of around twenty of us working here in Dubai,” said the filmmaker, Ali Abbas Zafar. The highly anticipated movie will mark the first female-centric superhero movie of Bollywood with A-listers.
However, the reports also suggest that the male actors are shying from being a part of a movie with a superhero female character and therefore, no male lead has been locked by the makers yet. It is believed that Vicky Kaushal could essay the male lead opposite Katrina Kaif who will be playing the superwoman in the movie. With the ongoing pandemic, the production of the movie has been affected like others and the movie is expected to hit the theatres by the end of 2021.
