The Bollywood power couple, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal, faced an odd and dangerous situation when someone sent them a death threat and started stalking the actress. After feeling concerned over the situation, Vicky Kaushal approached the Mumbai Police and registered a complaint against the unidentified stalker.
The Santacruz Police investigated the matter and has made an arrest in the case already. Based on the complaint, the police had initially registered an FIR against an unidentified person under Indian Penal Code Sections 506 (2) (criminal intimidation) and 354-D (stalking) and section 67 of the IT Act. DCP zone IX Manjunath Singe has confirmed the arrest of the accused and the Police are further probing the threat’s intentions and seriousness.
The death threat to Katrina and Vicky came weeks after megastar Salman Khan and his father experienced a similar situation. Salim Khan was handed a written death threat by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, allegedly, days after the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. The Bandra Police had registered an FIR on Salim Khan’s complaint and currently probing the matter.
