Star Plus and Ekta Kapoor are leaving no stone unturned to promote their most awaited show ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ starring young heartthrobs Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes as Anurag and Prerna.
From bringing in Bollywood Baadshah Shahrukh Khan to launch and announce the leads of the show, to now going an extra mile, immortalising their epic love saga by building statues of Anurag and Prerna in different cities of India as the Statue of Love- That’s Huge!
The team unveiled ten 23 feet long ‘Statute of Love’ in New Delhi, Noida, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Nashik, Nagpur, Rajkot up till now.
It’s a well known fact that the show is very dear to the producer of the show Ekta Kapoor, supporting her and the team in promoting the upcoming reboot of ‘Kasautii..’ and unveiling the statutes are celebrities from Television and film industry- Sanjeeda Sheikh, Aamir Ali, Jai Bhanushali, Mahi Vij, Rithvik Dhanjani, Asha Negi, Esha Deol and husband Bharat Takhtani, Vatsal Sheth, Ishita Dutta, Karan Tacker, Karan Veer Bohra and wife Teejay, Choreographer Dharmesh Yelande, and ‘Sairat’ stars Rinku Rajguru and Aakash Thosar.
The whole industry is in awe of the magnums scale at which the quintessential love story of Anurag and Prerna is being promoted. Nothing of this scale has ever happened in India for a Television show. The leads Parth and Erica couldn’t have asked for a better re-launch.

Back in 2001, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ starring Shweta Tiwari, Cezzane Khan, Ronit Roy, Urvashi Dholakia became a rage and probably was the longest running and most successful Balaji telefilms show on Star Plus. Whether or not it would be able to meet the same level is for the numbers to decide, however, the nostalgia is still running high in fans and everyone who has ever watched the show.
The team recently got done shooting for their outdoor schedule in Kolkata along with the promotions. The show premieres on 25th September, Monday- Friday at 8 PM.
