Renowned television actor Parth Samthaan informed about being tested positive for COVID-19 two weeks ago and his fans have been showering wishes for the actor ever since. While it was earlier informed that Samthaan had been keeping well with the viral disease, the latest report confirms that the actor has defeated the Coronavirus as he tested negative for the COVID-19 test after his treatment.
Parth Samthaan was one of the few actors who started shooting post the nationwide lockdown was lifted with fewer restrictions in place. While Kasautii Zindagii Kay crew followed necessary precautionary protocols and carried out shooting with limited men power, the lead actor contracted the virus and soon after shooting for Ekta Kapoor’s daily soap was halted. Samthaan had taken to his social media handle to break the unfortunate news to his fans as he had written, “Hi guys ,I have tested Postive for covid 19 and I would urge and request everyone whose been with me in close proximity over the last few days please go and get yourself tested . am in self quarantine and I thank BMC for all their support ,Please be safe and takecare ! (sic).”
After almost two weeks of the treatment, Parth Samthaan is cured of the deadly virus as he confirmed the same to the entertainment portal, Pinkvilla. “Yes it’s true, reports have come and it’s negative,” said Samthaan when asked about reports of his positive development. While the actor is recovering well, he is still kept under self-quarantine for precautionary measures and the safety of his dear ones.
Meanwhile, other crew members of the Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay tested themselves for COVID-19 as they were in close proximity at the sets but the reports came out to be negative.
