It was earlier informed that Kartik Aaryan is teaming up with Neerja director Ram Madhvani for a thriller movie and it was speculated that the project is an adaptation of a Korean movie. However, the latest report informs that the Ram Madhvani directorial is a remake of a popular Korean thriller movie.

According to a report published by Pinkvilla, the thriller movie starring Kartik Aaryan is an official remake of the Korean movie, The Terror Live. The movie revolves around a newsman who discovered that he has been rigged with a bomb after he has an exclusive interview with a terrorist. The protagonist of the movie runs against the time to save his city from the terrorist attack with nail-biting suspense.

A Hindi remake of The Terror Live was earlier supposed to be directed by Raees director Rahul Dholakia with Emraan Hashmi and Kriti Sanon heading the project. However, after Kriti walked out of the movie, the project was scrapped due to unavailability of actors. Now as per the report, the remake has been bagged by Kartik Aaryan with a different director and an entirely new crew. Starring Kartik Aaryan as the protagonist, it will mark as the actor’s first project in the thriller space and is expected to go on the floors soon.
