Kartik Aaryan has been on a signing spree this year despite a major fallout with Dharma Productions. The actor who recently started filming Freddy is back on the sets of Anees Bazmee’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 after a long halt. A sequel to the 2007 superhit horror-comedy, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, the production of the Kartik Aaryan starrer was suspended due to the pandemic last year.
Updating the resuming of shooting for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Kartik Aaryan took to his social media handle to share a picture with veteran actress Tabu who will be playing a key role in the movie. Posing for the selfie in printed olive green t-shirt alongside Tabu in a golden kurta, the actor wrote, “Begin Again#BhoolBhulaiyaa2.”

The filmmaker Anees Bazmee said that the team were shooting in Lucknow for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 when the pandemic broke out in March last year and the shooting remained cancelled. “Now we are back. Kartik and Tabu are with us. Their comic timing will shock audiences,” added the filmmaker on resuming the production. He further praised Kartik for bringing positivity to the sets and said, “He brings a certain positivity to the set. His comic timing is impeccable. Audiences are going to love his scenes with Tabu.”
Helmed by Anees Bazmee, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 features Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, Tabu, Rajpal Yadav, and Amar Upadhyay in the key roles. The horror comedy is expected to release early next year.
