Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming movie titled Baiju Bawra has been the talk of the town for a long time now and the project made headlines for its potential cast. It was earlier reported that the veteran director will be reuniting with Ranbir Kapoor with Baiju Bawra but the latest report suggests that Kartik Aaryan has now bagged the project.

The highly anticipated project has claimed the top news for many years and several big names have been in the race to headline the project. According to sources close to the development of the project, it was earlier reported that Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, and Ajay Devgn have been locked to play the leads in Baiju Bawra. However, the latest report suggests that Ranbir is dicey with the project.

Ranbir made his debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Saawariya and the two were likely to reunite once again. However, the actor has a number of underproduction projects in his timeline due to the pandemic crisis and he has reportedly decided to opt-out. With the alleged exit of Ranbir Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan is believed to be the top contender to play the lead in Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial.
