Bollywood’s beloved duo, Kartik Aaryan and Karan Johar, are joining forces once again—this time for a hilarious, high-concept comedy trilogy! Fresh off their upcoming rom-com Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, the actor-filmmaker pair is diving into an even bigger project, backed by producer Mahaveer Jain. It’s going to be a three-part laugh riot packed with surprises and stunning visuals.

According to Pinkvilla, the trilogy will be directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, the creative mind behind Fukrey. Lamba has been crafting this unique comedy for a while now. A source shared, “Mrighdeep has developed a fresh, high-concept script that’s perfect for a trilogy, with Kartik Aaryan leading the charge. Karan loved the idea instantly and greenlit it for a grand theatrical release. This isn’t just any comedy—it’s designed to connect with audiences across the board.”

Currently in pre-production, the team is focusing on elevating the film’s scale and visual appeal to create a one-of-a-kind cinematic experience. “It’s more than just jokes—expect some major surprises in terms of storytelling and presentation,” the source added. Shooting is expected to begin in September 2025, with a planned 2026 release.

For Kartik, this trilogy could be another milestone, cementing his reputation as a comedy powerhouse. Meanwhile, Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions continues to explore fresh genres, and with Mrighdeep’s track record of delivering hits, this project is already shaping up to be one of the most exciting comedy franchises in Bollywood’s pipeline!
