Pyaar Ka Punchnama famed actor Kartik Aaryan is on a roll with remakes and reboots of blockbuster movies up his sleeve. Kartik has already busy with the shooting of the remake of classic hit Pati Patni Aur Woh and the sequel of Love Aaj Kal. He has also been roped in for the reboot of Akshay Kumar starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa and the latest update is that Kartik has been approached for another sequel of a super hit movie, Dostana.
The 2008 comedy film starring John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra was an instant hit and the makers are all prepared for a sequel. Producer Karan Johar took to his social media account to announce the lead pair of Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor while the third member is said to be a newcomer and still under wraps.

Recently producer Karan Johar expressed his excitement for taking the Dostana franchise forward with Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor. While Dharma Productions is coming together with Kartik for the first time, Janhvi made her debut under Karan Johar’s banner. He will also be launching a fresh face which might be another star kid.
Meanwhile, Janhvi Kapoor is busy shooting with Rajkummar Rao for horror-comedy Roohi- Afza and Kartik Aaryan is working on Imtiaz Ali’s next alongside Sara Ali Khan. Directed by debutant Collin D’Cunha, Dostana 2 is expected to go on floors soon.
