Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer Kabir Singh became one of the most successful movies of the year and crossed 300 crore mark at the box office. However, the movie stirred numerous controversies related to the characters of the movie and even long after the movie is out from the theatres, the controversies are not settling down.
In a recent talk with Filmfare, Kareena Kapoor Khan opened up on her views on the movie and said that she couldn’t relate to the character of Kiara Advani and loving a flawed man with a bad temper is not on her to-do list. “If you ask me, I don’t personally believe in a character like that because that’s not me as a person. But at the end of the day, it’s a film and it has worked. But I’m happy that people are talking about things and they want their voice to be heard,” said the actress.
Kareena also said that she hasn’t seen the movie yet but she is happy that the movie did well at the box office and collected 300 crore INR at the box office. “But I’m happy that people are talking about things and they want their voice to be heard. But they clearly are outnumbered by the people who have loved the film. That’s the reality which is sad,” she added.
On the work front, Kareena Kapoor Khan has multiple movies in her pipeline including Karan Johar’s magnum opus Takht, Good Newwz, and Angrezi Medium.
