Ibrahim Ali Khan, son of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, is all set to make his Bollywood debut, and filmmaker Karan Johar couldn’t be more excited. Ahead of Ibrahim’s big launch, Karan took to Instagram on January 29, 2025, to share a heartfelt note, reflecting on his long-standing bond with the Khan family and expressing his enthusiasm for the young star’s journey.

Sharing a series of pictures of Ibrahim, Karan reminisced about his 40-year association with his family. He recalled meeting Amrita Singh, fondly called Dingy, when he was just 12 years old. “She did a film for Dharma Movies with my father called Duniya, and I still remember her grace, energy, and command over the camera,” he wrote. He also shared how their first meeting ended with a Chinese dinner and a James Bond movie, emphasizing Amrita’s warmth and kindness.

Reflecting on his first encounter with Saif Ali Khan, Karan described him as “young, suave, charming, and effortless”—a description he now finds fitting for Ibrahim as well. He highlighted his collaborations with the Khan family over the years, from Duniya and 2 States with Amrita to Kal Ho Naa Ho and Kurbaan with Saif, and Simmba with Sara Ali Khan.

Expressing his excitement for Ibrahim’s debut, Karan wrote, “This family has films in their blood, their genes, and their passion. We now make way for a new wave of talent, one that I cannot wait for the world to witness.” He ended his note by urging fans to stay tuned as Ibrahim gears up to make his mark on the big screen.
