Karan Johar’s upcoming magnum opus superhero trilogy, Brahmastra, has been making headlines for the longest time now and the first instalment of the franchise is being worked upon. While it was earlier confirmed that Shah Rukh Khan will be playing a cameo in the highly- anticipated franchise and the shooting for the same was carried out a while ago, details about his character in the trilogy is yet not revealed.

In a recent conversation with media, the producer Karan Johar went candid about the project and Shah Rukh Khan’s involvement in the same. The filmmaker said that he didn’t want to reveal anything about SRK’s character in the movie but he is grateful for him coming on-board and playing a crucial character in the anticipated project. He also added that the energy brought by Shah Rukh Khan on the sets is unparalleled.

Talking about the project, Karan Johar said that he will soon announce the release date of the first instalment of Brahmastra series. The filmmaker also gave a hint that the structure of the first two parts of the franchise is firmly in place with the brain of director Ayan Mukerji. He further hyped the project by saying that Ayan Mukerji is working on something that the Indian cinema has never seen before.

Helmed by Ayan Mukerji, Brahmastra stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy in prominent characters and the movie is expected to hit the silver screens by the last quarter of 2020.
