The South Indian film industries have been rising with back-to-back pan-India blockbusters and producing extraordinary cinematic experiences one after another. With many high-budgeted movies making a name in the Indian film industry, Kantara came out as a surprise and is on a non-stop flight of success with its winning spree across the globe.

The Hombale Films’ recent outing has been one of the most discussed projects from India. Adding to the feats, it has become the first Kannada movie to do business of 1 million USD in North America and 250K AUD in Australia.

The Rishab Shetty directorial Kantara was recently positioned as No.1 in the list of India’s Current Top 250 Films which was released by IMDb. With critical acclaim, the movie has been doing great business at the Indian box office in both the Hindi and Kannada language. It also became the first Kannada movie to be screened in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and now adding yet another feather to its rising success, it has surpassed all expectations with its box office success in North America and Australia.

Kantara’s Kannada version has collected a huge amount of 1 Million USD at the North American box office and 200 thousand AUD in Australia. The movie continues its charm at the ticket counters and holds well in the second week of its release in the Indian markets.

Helmed by Rishab Shetty, the Kannada-language action thriller features Rishab Shetty, Sapthami Gowda, Kishore, Achyuth Kumar, Pramod Shetty, and Shanil Guru in key roles amongst others.
