Touted to be one of the biggest and most expensive Kannada film ever made, the recently dropped ‘K.G.F’ a.k.a ‘Kolar Gold Fields’ trailer starring actor Yash and Srinidhi Shetty is gruesome, gritty and extravagant.
The film is a two part period movie, starting in the year 1950s when the Kolar gold fields was discovered along with the birth of the movie’s main protagonist actor Yash as Rocky.
Set in Mumbai, Rocky grows up in the streets of Bombay with the sole purpose to rule the world and free his people off slavery. There begins the most bloodiest goldmine battle against slavery, the monstrous history of which is unknown to him.
Directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kirangandur’s Hombale Films, the first chapter of the movie is set to release on 21st December 2018 in five different languages -Kannada, Telugu, Malyalam, Tamil and Hindi clashing with Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Zero’.
The Hindi dubbed version of the movie is being produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment and Anil Thadani’s ‘AA Films’ .
