K-Pop super band BTS’ returns with their trademark dance-pop verve mixed with an element of fun in their new single. Their latest song “Butter” has set a new record of 10 million views on YouTube in just 13 minutes after its release yesterday. During its midnight premiere, the new music video also drew around 3.89 million concurrent viewers.
The track had over 47,034,131 views on YouTube in the first five hours of its release and 4.8 million likes. “Butter” which is a dance-pop track with the band’s unique baseline and crisp synth sounds is choreographed with group and unit dances, with gestures. A league of talented musicians including, Rob Grimaldi, Stephen Kirk, Ron Perry, Jenna Andrews, Alex Bilowitz and Sebastian Garcia, have contributed to writing the song.
The band will be performing “Butter” for the first time ever at the upcoming Billboard Music Awards on May 23, I.e. tomorrow. The band has bagged nominations in four categories at this year’s award. One for Top Duo/Group, second as Top Song Sales Artist, thirds Top Social Artist and the last as Top Selling Song.
BTS will also begin with Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series on May 28.
